We are nearing the end of 2020 which means many of us will probably be setting new goals and resolutions to achieve next year.

WHAT ARE NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS?
A new year’s resolution is like a “promise” a person makes for the new year. Regardless of what resolution you commit to, the goal is to improve life in the coming years. It is a “tradition” in which a person resolves to continue good practices, change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal, or otherwise improve their life.
It is important to reflect on how the year has been for you before you proceed to set new year’s resolutions. Here are some questions to guide you:
- What is something we did this year that you think you will remember for the rest of your life?
- What is something you accomplished this year that you are proud of?
- What was the most challenging part of this year for you?
- If you could change one thing that happened this year, what would it be?
- What are the three most important things you learned this year?
- What is something that was hard for you at the start of the year but is easy now?
- In what area do you feel you made your biggest improvements?
Once you are done with your year end reflectionย for the year that is ending, it is time to look forward to the year that is about to start.
